Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) is a public school district serving Miami-Dade County, Florida. Founded in 1885, it is the largest school district in Florida and the Southeastern United States, and the fourth largest in the United States.
Region Office
The Central Region staff is dedicated to high
performance standards of teaching and learning, strong home/school relations, and effective management and business practices through a philosophy of competence, care and commitment.
School Board Member
On November 2, 2010, Miami-Dade voters elected Dorothy to serve as the Miami-Dade County School Board Member for District 2. She is most excited about her new endeavor because it allows her to continue to follow her passion – improving the education of children and families.
Health Inspection Report
Principals meet regularly with Food Service and Custodial staff to ensure the sanitation standards for the building are maintained. The Miami-Dade County Health Department M-DCHD inspections enhances the districts ability to provide a safe learning environment as well as
obtaining satisfactory inspection results.
